The recipe view is your primary view for recipe information. It can display a wide range of recipe details, from ingredients and procedures to nutrition and reviews. You can customize the recipe view to display only those elements that interest you.

The task toolbar buttons serve as quick links to commonly performed tasks. Clicking a task toolbar button is the same as selecting the corresponding menu item from the task menu.
New - Create a new recipe
Edit - Edit the selected recipe
Delete - Delete the selected recipe
Refresh - Refresh the current view
Properties - Modify the properties of the current view
Print preview - Preview the selected recipe
Print - Print the selected recipe
Export - Export the selected recipe
E-mail - E-mail the selected recipe
Use the recipe comments section to describe your recipe or tell the story behind the recipe.
Once recipe ingredients have been linked to the ingredient database clicking on the ingredient will display the ingredient's entry in the ingredient database.
Images add tremendous value to a recipe. The make them more appealing and easy to prepare.
Note: Images saved as JPEG or GIF files use the least space on your hard drive. If you own an image or photo editing program, resizing the recipe images to a width of 250 pixels works best.
Recipe procedures are automatically numbered to make them easier to read. Procedure headings can be added to organize complex recipe procedures.
Once ingredients have been linked to the ingredient database you can display the cost per serving for a recipe. If you have entered a price for the drink the profit per serving can be calculated too.
Choose to display basic nutritional information (what you might see on a can or box) or detailed nutrition (everything from Vitamin A to zinc).
The ingredient links can be displayed to verify that the recipe ingredients are linked to the correct entries in the ingredient database. This can be useful if the nutritional information calculated for a recipe appears incorrect.
Recipes can be associated with recipe types such as cocktail, hot drink, punch, etc. A recipe can have any number of recipe types.
The tips section is ideal for displaying useful hints, recipe variations and serving suggestions.
Recipe ratings and reviews can be associated with each recipe, including the name of the reviewer and the date. Rate your recipes one to five stars (or thumbs down if you really didn't like it).
Record the recipe's author, where you got it and the author's notes.
